Meet the people behind The So What Era—the author shaping the philosophy and the investors supporting the book, membership, and community.
When three women met – something powerful happened. The paths they walked to get here were very different, but their values and vision beautifully aligned: they wanted life to be better for people. To help people feel more alive, more confident, more fabulous, and more connected to themselves and others.
Together, they imagined a movement — The So What Era! A living, breathing space where people could learn, laugh, heal, and become the icons we know they are. They knew the combination of their experiences, personalities, and courage would be a force for good — a powerhouse of honesty, heart, and hope.
And so, The So What Era was born.

Paula brings warmth, sparkle and deep compassion to everything she touches. A self-described glamorous granny of four, she’s affectionately called “Lady Paula” for her grace, kindness and irrepressible joy. Across three decades in health, wellbeing, social care, education and the charity sector, she has helped thousands of children and families. A passionate advocate for children’s rights, inclusion and wellbeing, she leads with empathy, wisdom and heart—amplifying voices that deserve to be heard.

Kathryn is an activist and mother whose work spans continents and communities. Working alongside African activists shaped a lifelong commitment to justice, resilience and human potential. Drawing on decades with global leaders, grassroots changemakers and vulnerable children—alongside personal development and healing—she offers grounded wisdom on transformation, resilience and purpose. She is driven by the belief that meaningful change always begins within.

Charlotte is an energetic, purpose-driven leader with a love of people, possibility and doing things differently. A proud mum, wife and founder of Kinbee, she brings clarity, courage and a streak of rebellion to every project. With 20+ years helping individuals and organisations grow their impact, she created the Excellence Rebellion™—supporting leaders to step into expertise, raise standards and lead with authenticity. Her work blends ethics, empowerment and excellence, proving success and soul belong together.
Different in experience yet deeply aligned in values, Paula, Charlotte and Kathryn are the heart of The So What Era. Together they’ve created a powerful space for growth, reflection and real change—a journey designed to help people step into lives they truly love.
